Sharing my comic on deviant

Journal Entry: Thu Jul 30, 2015, 4:52 PM

Riddles and shrooms cover art by travisJhanson
Well I figured it was about time to share my adventure of deviant. I have been running this webcomic for a long time and I think that sharing my vision here would be fun and allow my audience to grow. Though I am going to start at the beginning (the comic is 650 pages long and growing). It has been a very fun adventure and I have finally decided to color this comic. Right now I am working on a update schedule... maybe twice a week until I get caught up. I am not sure. The main thing is I want to share this adventure.

Now you can support it if you and your support keeps it going. It is currently a patreon campaign... www.patreon.com/travishanson?t…;
Which all I am asking for is a $1 a month... though I update the art twice a week and have added free giveaways. Also if you want you can read the entire story so far online at www.beanleafpress.com . 650 pages of story and now in full color... (don't mind the b.w. that will be color one day- hence the patreon campaign).

This story has been an incredible labor of love for me. I have tried and tried again and finally I believe that it has found it's groove. I feel really proud about how it looks right now. I hope you enjoy it and I am very willing to share it.

Here are the first two pages of the comic on deviant...

So if you love a good fantasy, that has some huge twist ... come read my story. If you love it, take a moment and support it or share it. Help it get out there.
Thanks again and each week we will add more.

Ok so just to get it going - because i feel that one more page to get the adventure started. Ever since I started adding color to the comic, I have found that it has really added to the story in ways that I never thought possible. I have always loved b/w but I have known deep down that color was going to be needed to really tell my adventure.

If you want to support the coloring and continued story telling of this webcomic and adventure just visit www.patreon.com/travishanson?t…; All I am asking is a buck a month... and you can win some wonderful custom artwork.

You can also read the story in all it's glory at www.beanleafpress.com  - Just start from page 1 and spend a nice long afternoon enjoying the adventure of a disgruntled dishwasher.

Thanks again for the support and enjoying the tale. Keep creating.

I am now coloring the bean - You can actually help support the coloring of bean for only a 1 dollar a month on Patreon www.patreon.com/travishanson?t… , and you get some cool free artwork as well. It has been a long time coming and I am almost done with the re-release of the first book. I really love how this cover came out.

Penciled in sketchbook pro, inked in mangastudio colored in photoshop.

As some of you might realize I do a fantasy comic called the Bean. It's a fantasy adventure about an dishwasher named bean. Right now I have over 650 pages of story up at www.beanleafpress.com - it is also on patreon were people can help support the coloring of the book as well as keep the story going. www.patreon.com/travishanson?t…
I am very grateful for those that have kept this story going. I could not have done this without you.

I do this story because I love it. I have only recently started coloring it. So I am going to post the pages up here... maybe I will post two a week to keep it going.  Though if you want to read the whole thing I would encourage to visit my site. (there are 17 chapters at the moment with more coming).

I'll keep updating though as long as there is interest.

Anyways- here we go...
Thank you again and keep dreaming.

Hey there! I saw you at Phoenix Comicon and really enjoyed your book " Adventures for a Lazy Afternoon". It sparked my drive to continue drawing and practicing different mediums. I like looking at the inks and colors that you use in each piece. I also like how you are very inspirational and always telling everyone to dream big. Can't wait to see more of your amazing art.

Hello Trav it was such a delight to meet you at Las Vegas comic con. You really inspired me with how fast your thought process is and I got a chance to snag one of your beautiful prints. The way you talked so passionately about being creative and thinking out of the box was just captivating to me. So thank you for visiting.

Looking at your artwork is incredibly fun.  If available when I finally make money, I would love to get a few of these as prints and put them on my walls
